I’m Jess, an Associate Creative Director / Art Director currently at VML Seattle. I first discovered my love for art direction via MySpace, where I spent hours curating, designing, and somehow coding my profile long before I was old enough to meet the terms & conditions. That spiraled into a lifelong habit of making things on the internet: drawing, shooting, editing, breaking things, rebuilding them, etc. which all eventually led me into advertising, where I still make things for a living… just with slightly more structure and a lot more at stake.

• From the swamps of Florida. Now living in similarly wet Seattle, Washington.

• Proudly made by immigrants. Meaning I was raised on hard work, big dreams, and never leaving food behind.

• Cat enthusiast (especially when it comes to my own).

• Chronic user of “:)” in every form of communication.

• Unofficially crowned the Concept Queen in college… a title I still proudly display on my desk.
